Liverpool predicted XI vs Crystal Palace, can we keep up our form?

I have this strange feeling that Liverpool are going to really struggle in this match. Firstly, everything is set for my personal disappointment. For once I actually finish work in time to watch the match, so surely that’s only to further crush my happiness.

Crystal Palace are a tricky team, because if they show up they can really unsettle our team. Christian Benteke returns to Liverpool with all his heading glory, and it’s already likely he’ll grab a goal. He didn’t entirely flop at Liverpool, scoring nine in 29 league games (only 14 starts) but he just didn’t fit.

I rate Benteke, and that’s why i’m scared he’ll be a big threat for Palace in this match. So already we look set to struggle with set-pieces and a strong central threat.

To make things worse, James Milner is a doubt through illness. Zaha is probably the player I rate highest in the Palace team, and he would demolish Alberto Moreno. Luckily, I think there’s a solution to the left back position which I address further into this article.

Liverpool need to be winning as many games as possible from now on. If we go to Selhurst and play well, maybe a draw wouldn’t be the worst? I just want anything to avoid the inevitable meltdown when we finally lose a game.

As much as I hate to admit it, we will lose at some point. We’re playing brilliant football and I’m beyond confident, but even the best teams take a loss eventually. When we do, I’m scared some fans will explode.

Here’s the Liverpool team that I think can deal with Crystal Palace and get Liverpool the points they should earn.
