Southampton away always a tricky one for Liverpool. Liverpool were however, unlucky not to come away with all three points, Southampton having a solid hand in the result.

Liverpool had an average showing, fatigue looked set in with the Brazilian duo, and all opportunities went begging. Players who played above the rest, were both team’s defense.

Liverpool missed quite a load in front of goal. Broke the defensive line on a few occasions, showing us how important it is to make every opportunity count. No matter how small the chance is.

Lallana another figure sorely missed throughout the 90 minutes. Only positive to take from this, is the clean sheet kept by the Liverpool defense.
