Liverpool head to the semi-finals of the English League Cup with a 2-0 victory at Anfield over Championship side Leeds United.  Leeds put up a worthy fight, but were unable to capitalize.

Leeds had their chances and good few moments of the game. To be honest, they were better against Liverpool than any other team we’ve played in the last three or so matches.

Not sitting back, very well organised in defense, and tried to get in behind our center-back pair throughout the 90. Leeds did everything in their power to try and take the game to the home side.

In the end, it was Liverpool and striker Origi, who kept knocking on Leeds defensive door, and opened them up. A well deserved home victory, keeping the unbeaten run going for another week.
