Liverpool’s predicted XI vs West Ham – Red’s hoping for a quick recovery

Well, Liverpool need to step it up. Our second loss this season has rocked us, and we need to recover quickly. Dropping points against Burnley and Bournemouth is embarrassing, but we’re not in as big a rut as people think.

We’re still 3rd, only 4 points behind Chelsea with a long way to go. Manchester City sit on 30 points with us, and Arsenal move just 1 point ahead.

The truth is we never expected to be this high before the season began. It’s Jurgen Klopp’s first full Liverpool season, and we hoped for a Champions League finish at best. The guy has been working to turn this team into something to be feared, and he’s done that sooner than we imagined.

The big teams fear us. The players step up to challenge the top sides in the league, but the weaker sides steal points. It’s ironic that the lower teams have beaten us compared to the top sides, but we go on.

West Ham are up next, and Liverpool need a win to get back on track. In all honesty, I hate this fixture. West Ham are one of those teams that just shows up against us no matter how badly they’re playing.

Our opponents sit in 17th place, on 12 points with a -14 goal difference. We are 18 points higher with a better goal difference by 31. Losing is not an option.

The odd loss after so many games unbeaten – fine. Two losses in a row to teams we should be beating would be a real disaster.

Here’s the team I think will play against West Ham. Have faith, because one bad result doesn’t define our team. The players have shown they can be better, trust that they’ll get the job done.
