Goalkeeper – Simon Mignolet

Last week I defended Loris Karius in several articles on this site. This week, I’m still defending him all the same. He needs time and faith, not drama and abuse. The issue surrounding Liverpool’s goalkeeping coach is one thing, but if Klopp doesn’t trust him he’ll make that change.

I still have faith in Karius, but I think the best place for him right now is on the bench. Theres been so much press surrounding him and it clearly effected his confidence last game. Simon Mignolet deserves a chance to keep things competative, especially after some encouraging displays earlier this season and in the cup.
