Centre Back – Joel Matip

He’s our best CB so far this seaosn, but i’m slightly annoyed that he’s recieved none of the blame for the second goal this weekend. He got caught out and thats that. It doesn’t make him any less of a key player for us, it just fairly says that he could have done more – as could Karius.

I really rate Matip, but the fact some fans used his recent good performances to deflect anybody saying he made a mistake is bias at its finest. He’s our key defender, so I wouldn’t dream of dropping him right now.
