Liverpool predicted XI vs Everton – The first Merseyside derby of the season and the Red’s need another win

Remember that time Liverpool whacked Everton 4-0 last season? If the answer is no, then I feel bad for you. Here’s the video, just in case you want to watch the demolition again.

I don’t expect that to happen again this season, and in truth, I’m a tad worried. Everton have a new manager, and some decent players, so if they perform they could pose a threat. Of course, it’s all if’s and but’s, but we’ve been beaten by poorer teams this season.

Liverpool need a win more than ever with Chelsea storming and Arsenal matching us on points. The Merseyside derby is as good a game as any to take all three points from.

The importance of not only getting the points, but beating local rivals, makes this game one of the biggest so far this season.

Here’s my predicted XI for the match against Everton.
