Centre Back – Dejan Lovren

A clean sheet against Middlesbrough should help Lovren regain some confidence after two poor displays. As I’ve stated several times, I like Lovren, but I despise his inconsistencies. Our fans are harsher than most for not tolerating mistakes, which sees Dejan’s frequent blunders hounded upon often. He can either play inspired and brilliant football, or he can player like a slightly nervous centre back who only has some vague awareness of how to defend. Onwards and upwards, onwards and upwards.
