Sturridge had a decent run of fitness before getting injured once again. The confusing thing was the way Klopp used him from the bench, despite his obvious quality. We know that nobody believe in Daniel more than Daniel, but he seemed happy when he was involved despite starting on the side-lines. I have faith he’ll come good, but he didn’t get amongst the goals enough and hasn’t really done enough for me to say he’s great once again.
