Quincy Promes is a personal favorite of mine. The Dutch international has the ideal blend of pace, agility, vision, and sublime skill on the ball.

Promes will turn 25 in January and he’s no longer a raw prospect. He’s a player coming into his prime and will surely be looking to move away from Moscow to a top European club.

The Spartak Moscow talisman can play anywhere across the forward line, at times even playing as a creative number 10.

Promes is the ideal modern forward and would be absolutely devastating in Klopp’s gegenpress.

I wrote about Liverpool’s interest in Promes last month and addressed the probability of Promes moving in January.

Promes is a devoutly loyal player. He has said that he wants to remain in Moscow for the season and help Spartak claim their first title since 2001.

This makes a January transfer unlikely, but if Liverpool come in with an offer too good to refuse, adding Promes would be a major signal of intent and be the perfect player to plug into Klopp’s system.
