With a great birthday gift over the weekend, as Liverpool beat Spurs flawlessly! The question stands, is the worst behind Klopp and the squad?

How long have we waited for Liverpool to break the duck, or as I would refer to it as, “The January curse of 2017”!

In under a month every Liverpool fan, player and the manager Klopp, watched all their league and trophy aspirations blow up in front of them.

To have squared off against one of the best defensive teams currently in the English Premier League and knock them down without any reply.

It has to be taken as a massive accomplishment and improvement, considering the poor run of games.

In return, we can take many positives in knowing, the race for Champions League football is far from over and has just heated up.

The last of February:

With and FA cup weekend and a break in football, the Reds go into the next game fresh and full of confidence.

In saying this, Liverpool have one more fixture left for the month of February and go up against struggling Leicester City, away at the King Power Stadium.

In the reverse leg, Klopp’s men did a number on the previous champions. We should be returning with all three points in this one too.

After a short February, Liverpool have a tough month in March.

Overcoming this month, will help the Reds go marching on and sit firmly in the driver’s seat, where European football is concerned.

Liverpool’s month of March:

Liverpool battle it out against: Arsenal; Burnley FC; and Manchester City respectively.

Burnley FC was the first team to expose Liverpool with a deserved victory and will be just as tough as the other two fixtures.

Liverpool has a do or die month. Taking on two of the teams who are in the running for a top four finish, expresses the importance of a flawless March.

Liverpool are by no means off their target of reaching the top four and getting back to where they belong, the European Champions League.

As a Liverpool supporter coming off the back end of an extremely terrible month. I can only look at the glass half full.
