Central Defender – Joël Matip: 7.2

Not left alone to be the only out-and-out defender. Matip was all over the Gunners attack. One goal conceded doesn’t justify this statement. Nevertheless, Matip was as cool as a forward player, with better passes forward, Liverpool looked a better team pushing out from the back.
