With a stronghold over City, after winning the first fixture. Liverpool take on their next top four challenge, but City is the team who have something to prove.
Before last week, Arsenal sat a point above Liverpool in 4th spot. Liverpool then claimed the double over the Gunners for the season of 2016/2017.
In two weeks from now, Liverpool go all the way to the blue-side of Manchester, where they taking on Man City, who currently occupy 3rd place with a game in hand.
Man City always a tough opponent away, but with a different manager involved, Liverpool could easily pull the double this season.
Pep Guardiola has found it somewhat difficult in the Premier League, claiming it to be the toughest league he has ever managed in.
With this being said. Pep and Co, will be more than prepared. They too have their large crowd, with 50% of them being Sterling’s offspring (still cracks me up).
The boys in blue have done well to date. They’ve won all their Premier League fixtures since the start of February and hit Sunderland 0-2 away, in their most recent fixture. Making them unbeaten since the start of the year, seven Premier League games to be exact.
This game will either be packed with end-to-end action and might be lucky enough to be gifted a game with many goals flying in on both ends.

My prediction for this top of the table battle, I say a Liverpool win, 2-1. I know my team well enough to concede a goal.
