End-to-end, action-packed, emotionally draining, and heartbreaking. Pretty much the full 90 minutes summed up in one line. 1-1, the final score between Man City and Liverpool in their top-four challenge, deemed a fair result.

Both teams had the chance to take the game away from each other, but both teams had trouble finishing and missing that killer factor in front of goal.

This normally the key ingredient in both Pep and Klopp’s game. Also, the reason why these two are the most exciting teams to watch in the English Premier League.

Angels and Demons – God was in the outfield

If you didn’t believe in God before this match as a Liverpool fan, you should now! We should count our blessings, there was a point to return from the Etihad with.

On one end we saying grace and giving thanks to God for the missed opportunities Agüero and Co were having in front of our goalmouth. On the other side, work of Lucifer himself on display.

Adam Lallana’s miss in front of goal, (like directly in front of goal, and not 90 degrees to the left or 90 to the right, smack, bang in the middle!) has to be work of the devil! Watching the replays, you can notice exactly where the hex was placed on Lallana.

Some unforgiving moments, others understandable and easy to be shaken off. With all the angles measured up, I’s dotted and T’s crossed. One point apiece is a fair result for the two English powerhouses.
