Two changes made to the team for Liverpool, but no change in the result, as Liverpool drive miss Daisy (Everton), to victory in the Merseyside Derby. The team goes four games unbeaten after this and Manager Klopp’s derby record boast, three wins in a row!

What more could you ask for from a team playing with injuries to key players? Both Lucas and Lovren’s performances was that of derby quality. The two stepped effortlessly into the starting line-up and did what was asked of them.

Substitutions were equally as good to the asking. Sadio Mane, the man to take all the points from Everton at Goodison Park. In this home tie, the first to register a goal at Anfield. Matching Mane’s effort, Origi, with a composed finish to take the match away from the Blues.

With a goal leaked from lazy reactions in a scuffle in the box, Liverpool was again a goal away from perfection.  The crowd adding crowd fire and lit the stadium up with a touching tribute, amplified sound, and unlimited backing!

A 10 out of 10 derby for me to complete the double and paint Liverpool RED!

Everton also lucky to end the game with all eleven players on the field. But, always a sweeter result to know you beat your rivals with no sending offs. It proves there was a better team on the pitch.
