A well worked weekend, filled with upsets and dramatic draws. Liverpool and Spurs, the only two teams to take three points from their matches over the weekend.

Liverpool vs Everton and Arsenal vs Man City. Probably the toughest fixtures played over the weekend, in the English Premier League. The Merseyside Derby, going Liverpool’s way 3-1. While the London rivalry ended even, 2-2.

Other results around the top of the table, was the surprise package, West Brom, leaving Old Trafford with a point. Man United had every opportunity to take the game away, but the Baggies dug deep to keep the game scoreless.

An even bigger upset was when untouchables, Chelsea were beaten well by 16th placed, Crystal Palace. Liverpool’s old boy, Benteke putting the final dagger in the heart. That score ended 2-1. This result raising more questions about Sakho and his exclusion from Liverpool.

Receiving player of the month for Palace and steering his team away from a relegation spot. Concerned about this situation. Stubbornness could cost us one of the best defenders in the team.

I strongly believe Matip and Sakho would form a formidable partnership. We should give the player a chance to work his way back into the squad.
