Liverpool leaves it late and helps Bournemouth to a point at Anfield. It means extremely little winning a derby emphatically, to drawing the next game miserably. 2-2 the best Liverpool can do without Sadio Mane.

Unable to return the favour and unable to gain speed on other results going in our favour. There comes a time where you ask yourself, “Is Liverpool doing this intentionally to themselves?”. Hard fought, with tonnes of character on display, but it was not that night.

With Clyne hitting the woodwork for no points, as a new party trick for his birthday. Origi able to get his head on one ball, out of several crosses. Liverpool’s striker missing half the time when deliveries were given into the box.

Liverpool defensively has a goal a game in them. When you couple this with a goal scoring error. You have too many things going on at once at Anfield. Hats off to the fans, they rallied till the final whistle.

The luck of the other results was there, we were just too weak to stand up and take it like men! On either end of the pitch, two different errors, same end result. A balls-up and a hand-off to sum it up nicely.
