GK – Simon Mignolet: 6.8 Man of the Match

The last line of defence, standing bigger than the Great Wall of China. The goal let in by Liverpool was of poor defensive play. Mignolet couldn’t do much about a John Walters’s header in the first half. Fortunately, thereafter, each time Mignolet was called into action, he stood strong and firm and single-handedly, kept Liverpool’s three-point alive.
