Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and star player, Lallana, were said to be on their way back to Liverpool’s first team training. Unfortunately, both are not present according to the Liverpool Echo.

It is believed that Henderson had a massive chance of making Sunday’s away fixture against West Brom. While Lallana, would be missing from the travelling squad.

Henderson has been out since Mid Feb, sorely missed at first, but replaced well after a great run of fixtures by Emre Can. However, to have Henderson back would not have come at a better time. With Saido Mane already out long-term, missing the remaining six game, Klopp is in need of his first team players.

Lallana the other first team player missing since international duty is also said to be close to a return and ready to take the training field soon. With these two back, Klopp would be split for choice in the midfield, at the right time.

Recent News Takes a New Twist

Liverpool’s first team training continued as normal and normal being without Henderson and Lallana as mentioned on social media. We can confidently say after yesterday’s reports from the Liverpool Echo, both Henderson and Lallana will not make the match Sunday coming.

Worrying, to say the least. If Liverpool’s able to put in the same display as their previous one over the weekend is something that we are unable to guaranty. With so much inconsistency on display several times this season. Liverpool is in need of their captain’s presence.

Earlier today, Sky Sports confirmed Klopp expects both, Henderson and Lallana back by month end. This better news, than no news at all. A short wait of two April fixtures left before these key figures are back for selection.

After April Liverpool got their last four fixtures. Four fixture deciding the fate of the club’s Champions League aspirations.
