He has been consistent in his play, making the most Premier League appearances (31 matches) of any Liverpool player this season. Clyne, being a wide defensive anchor of Klopp’s back-line, has allowed the England-born defender to boast a passing accuracy of 83%.

The Reds defender has not scored a single Premier League goal this season, and that is okay. Clyne’s trademark is scrappy defense and sending crosses into the box, allowing Firmino, Coutinho, and Mane to rack up goals. Every team needs a player like Clyne.
