Sadio Mane

Oh Sadio Mane, making Liverpool fans happy and sad right now. Mane has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. But that doesn’t disqualify him from making the top ten list at number two!

Mane is probably Klopp’s best signing thus far, transferring to Anfield for a £34 million fee last summer. Since joining the Reds, Mane has scored a team leading 13 goals. That is 3 more than Roberto Firmino, who is the next closest on the Liverpool’s own golden-boot list.

Liverpool are just a better club when Mane is on the pitch. He has an eye for creating chances and pushing the pace of the match. Klopp loves Mane too, like Coutinho, because he plays well in his system.

Overall, Mane has created 43 chances, shot at an accuracy of 63%, and maintained a 77% passing accuracy as well. Mane showed all of his skills in the Hull City match last September. Similarly to Philippe Coutinho, Mane netted a beautiful goal, coming in the 36th minute. In addition, he took 6 shots, created 3 chances, and passed at a high accuracy of 82%.

Sadio Mane – 8.9
