Georginio Wijnaldum

Oh Wijnaldum, Liverpool loves you. Gini left Newcastle United in the summer for £23 million, joining the Reds talented midfield. Like Firmino and Clyne, Wijnaldum has been a consistent presence on the pitch.

This season the Reds midfielder has made 30 appearances, scoring 5 goals. This serves again as a nice backbone in the midfield for Klopp. Recently, Wijnaldum has stepped up in the absence of Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana, which is promising to see.

In those appearances Wijnaldum has scored 5 goals, creating 31 chances, and passing accurately at 88%. That is fantastic, so why is Gini lower on this list? Simply put his defensive errors are unmistakable. This season he has allowed 4 very important defensive errors, which led to an attempt on goal or a successful goal.

It will be fun to see how Wijnaldum develops under Klopp. The Reds midfielder is still young at just 26 years old. Wijnaldum joins Mane as two of the most exciting Klopp signings during his tenure at Anfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum – 7.8
