LB – James Milner: 6.1  (Substitution off 82″ Alberto Moreno)

The Captain powerless in the defeat and unable to lead the team to another victory. Another goal let in by the defence on the left side, in open play. Safe to say, Klopp’s need for a new left-back is more than a priority. Milner has been excellent to the asking but, has let in far too many on his watch. The manager changed to a back-three, which consisted of two midfielders. All the signs as to why Liverpool struggle to keep a tidy defensive display.
