One of the hottest transfer rumors surrounding Liverpool right now is a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor. Here is a transfer profile:

Borussia Dortmund wide man Emre Mor has shot into transfer focus with news that he is available. The price is being given as around £20 million which would be great value for the Turkish international.

Liverpool are still trying to move for Virgil van Dijk but with the deal for Naby Keita over they may want to add one more midfielder before the window closes. With Klopp’s contacts at Dortmund we would be leading contenders should an offer come. Here is a transfer profile to get you up to speed on out latest transfer target:

Physical Attributes:

The German press call him the ‘Turkish Messi’ and you can see why. He is very short, only 5’6, and very quick. His low center of gravity allows him to glide around taller and more imposing center backs and midfielders. He has good strength for being so undersized. However we certainly won’t be buying him to help us defend set pieces!

Technical Attributes:

He has a sumptuous left foot. There is a cliché about the ball being on a string that would apply to him. The Liverpool player his dribbling style most reminds me of John Barnes. And that’s not an exaggeration. He is tidy enough with his right foot but is always looking to shift it back to the left. He looks like he could be a fantastic understudy to Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Mental Attributes:

Here is where I have concerns. Often at times he can appear frustrated and angry. Tends to blame others for mistakes rather than take responsibility. He is only 20-years-old so that may change. Every video of him shows him to be a little greedy; always choosing to run and shoot than find a teammate. There would certainly be a step up for him tactically to play a role in Klopp’s system. He has the technique to be a top player but would be more of a project than a slam dunk starter.
