With the Premier League season only days away and the transfer window running out we have a roundup of all the latest Liverpool news for you:

The van Dijk and Coutinho stories are dominating the Liverpool news cycle right now. However there is more going on than those tabloid sagas. We have put all the latest Liverpool news in one place for you to digest and peruse.

Virgil van Dijk latest:

The Dutch center half has submitted a transfer request to Southampton. This was accompanied by a sharp letter defending his own conduct this summer and a plea to Southampton to listen to offers from interested parties. The two clubs with confirmed interest are Liverpool and Chelsea. Southampton would prefer to sell to Chelsea but the player wants the Reds. He believes in Klopp and the style of football we are playing. Despite this news, not much has changed for Liverpool; they are still waiting for Southampton to have a new willingness to talk to us.

Yan Dhanda loan:

Liverpool’s versatile midfielder Yan Dhanda is drawing keen interest from Championship clubs for a loan during the 2017/18 season. The 18-year-old is a mainstay of the Liverpool youth sides and now features regularly for the U23s. Klopp is an admirer of the young player but is willing to let him get the first team experience away from Anfield this year. The clubs who have registered intent are Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Bristol City. All the clubs have good relations with Liverpool and have had some of our youngsters on loan before.

Sheyi Ojo future:

As we have known for a while Sheyi Ojo is set for a loan move this year. The question is: Where? After heavy interest from Newcastle and Middlesbrough, the destination moved to Aston Villa. Now the decision looks set between Derby County and Fulham. Liverpool would prefer to send him to Fulham who have a young and exciting squad. They are also keen to sweeten relations with the Lilywhites ahead of a potential move for star left back Ryan Sessegnon next summer.
