Liverpool Player Ratings – Forwards

Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH. 8. Continues to be a threat. Creates space and works hard tracking back. Tons of effort and pace. Missed one golden chance and one very good one. Hit the target both times but should have done better. Then scores a wonderful goal on the break pressing high on an Arsenal corner. He switched to the left when Mane went off. From there, put in a beautiful cross to Sturridge for the fouth goal. Could have had 8 or 9 goals already this season.

8. His base level is 8/10 these days. Just another run-of-the-mill Firmino game. One goal, an assist and giving every defender in sight a torrid time. There will be games when we need Sturridge or Solanke to start against teams that play very deep. But otherwise Firmino is the main man to run this lethal attack.. Center Forward. Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO

9. Scored the crucial second goal that gave Liverpool a cushion. From that point on we were in total control. Probably our best player and proved it again today. One underrated part of his performances is how he has helped the left back position. Both Andrew Robertson and Alberto Moreno look a lot more comfortable with Mane ahead of them. His positional sense is so good it protects us defensively while always giving the left back an easy passing option when we have the ball. Excellent again.. Left Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE

Liverpool Player Ratings – Subs

Daniel Sturridge – 7

Came on for Sadio Mane and grabbed a goal with a great back post header.

James Milner – 6

Came on for Roberto Firmino to help hold the center. Had little to do as Arsenal’s heart vanished after Salah’s goal.

Marko Grujic – 6

Came on for Emre Can and showed pace and strength in replacing the German. Good to see him get some minutes.
