Liverpool twitter is abuzz looking for signs that a move for Virgil van Dijk is happening. Tracking planes and following cars. More here:

There is no other fanbase like ours. The Reds are the most passionate and devoted fans out there and this transfer window has proved it once again. With the exciting news of the signing of Naby Keita for 2018, Liverpool fans have switched to the possibility of Virgil van Dijk’s move from Southampton.

Liverpool fans crashed a plane tracking website today. A private plane was chartered from Bournemouth to Liverpool and was reported to have Virgil van Dijk on board. Speculation of the type of plane and its potential interiors were all discussed.

The plane landed at John Lennon airport in Liverpool a few hours ago and a Mercedes-Benz was seen leaving from it. This car is rumored to be an official LFC vehicle. Reds then took to comparing the car with the vehicles that picked up Jurgen Klopp, Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson when they completed their deals.

Our devotion is second to none!

If this van Dijk then it means a deal is done. Liverpool have been very careful as they have kept an arm’s length after news leaked earlier on in the window. Southampton threatened to report us for tapping up. If he is in Liverpool, it is not to negotiate. It will be for a medical and confirmation will come later today or early tomorrow.

This transfer is huge for Reds as we have watched our attack run through teams with ease. Our defense is in desperate need of a strong, fast and aerially dominate defender. The signing of van Dijk would legitimately put us in title contention this year.
