Danny Ings

Danny Ings is another whose life story would have been different if it wasn’t for a serious injury. The former Burnley man has missed 85 games due to serious knee injuries and at 25-year-old needs to be playing football.

Ings has only made 11 appearances for Liverpool since moving south in 2015 and looks set to fight for his place up front.

With Klopp not even using Daniel Sturridge regularly in favour of a false 9, it looks like the England international will have limited opportunities.

Ings has called for patience regarding his comeback, wrote the Daily Mail, but it’s hard to see how warming the bench will do him any good right now.
