Liverpool fans are going nuts over Jordan Henderson’s assist for England during their win against Slovakia.
The Three Lions defeated their group rivals 2-1 to top the World Cup qualifying logs after goals from Eric Dier and Marcus Rashford.
England actually fell behind thanks to an early goal from Stanislav Lobotka after just three minutes, but Tottenham Hotspur man Dier grabbed the equalisier before Manchester United pyro Rashford smashed home the winner from outside the box.
Henderson was instrumental in threading the ball to the striker’s feet with a movement so slight you’d miss it if you blinked.

In fact, it was down to eagle eyed watchers to point out the slight of foot via the social media site Reddit.
The Liverpool midfielder started the game with the captain’s armband, but it didn’t inspire him to greater heights. The BBC reckoned his match rating was a steady six, although that still put him ahead of the rest of his midfield colleagues.
But now the former Sunderland man will have to switch his attention back to club football and a daunting game against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Saturday.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will want Henderson at his best for an incredibly important clash. They can lay down a real marker and signal their intent if they beat the Citizens – especially after the 4-0 thrashing Klopp’s men handed to Arsenal before the international break.
