New Liverpool signing Naby Keita scored an absolute thunderrocket for Leipzig against Hamburg on Friday night.

The Bundesliga teams were facing up in an early season top of the table clash that saw the away side come away with three points thanks to Keita and Timo Werner.

Reds fans have already got excited about the incoming transfer, and videos like this will have them doing their nut for the prospect of the star in midfield next campaign.

The 22-year-old picked the ball up from a quickly taken free kick, strolled a few steps forward with it and drilled an unstoppable thunderrocket into the roof of the net.

After hitting eight goals and providing seven assists, the Guinea international turned heads and Liverpool eventually won the race for his signature.

That deal has left the entire Bundesliga jealous and Kop manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that he had congratulatory text messages from most managers in the league, said the Daily Mail.

“I have contact to a lot of people in the Bundesliga, as you can imagine, and I have never had so many congratulations messages as I had after signing Naby,” the German revealed.

‘He’s the player of the league, that’s how it is. Last year, together with Thiago Alcantara who played an outstanding season for Bayern, he was the flier,” he said.

Keita’s wonderful goal is his first of the season and it briefly takes Leipzig up to third in the table after three fixtures.

As that was the early kick off, their remaining top flight competitors have only played two games and there will be some leap frogging until the natural order of things is resumed.

German striker Werner also hit the back of the net, and Klopp was reported by the Daily Star as being interested in the youngster.
