Bob Paisley signed Phil Neal (in better condition than his picture) from Northampton Town in 1974 and he never looked back.

One astonishing fact about Neal is he played 417 games in a row! Including with a broken cheek sustained in 1976 and a broken toe that meant he played for six weeks with one size seven boot and one size eight and a half.
