Liverpool fans can’t believe Crystal Palace have fired Frank de Boer and replaced him with Roy Hodgson.
The former Ajax manager was given just four games in charge of the London club before they swung the axe and got the ex-Anfield gaffer to take up his hot seat, said the Guardian.
After scoring zero goals in the Premier League this campaign and suffering losses against Huddersfield, Liverpool, Swansea and Burnley, de Boer was handed his marching orders.
It marks a curious reversal of fortunes for a manager who was highly rated after leaving Amsterdam for Inter Milan, a job that didn’t work out either.

De Boer was brought to the club to try and change the way they play football, wrote the newspaper, but it is clear now that chairman Steve Parish thought that could only lead to relegation.
Palace’s latest loss, away to Burnley, was as unlucky a result as you could wish to see. Lee Chung-yong gifted the Clarets their only goal through a back pass so shocking you can only assume his end goal was to get the manager fired.
Defender Scott Dann then missed from two yards out in the dying moments of the game, a goal there would have almost certainly changed the Dutchman’s fortunes.
The Eagles also had 23 shots and there were clear signs of progress. Palace were also without several key players, and now de Boer will never get to know what could have been when they come back from injury.
See what fans had to say on the matter below, and just remember to pray for their sanity as Roy takes up the reigns.
Not sure what's more ridiculous. Sacking De Boer after 4 games or giving the job to Hodgson.
