Liverpool are set for their Carabao Cup clash against Leicester City in mid week, but how much rotation is needed for the game?

In all fairness, it’s likely that manager Jurgen Klopp should have had some decisions to make regardless of the opponent or circumstances.

Two consecutive poor showings against Sevilla in the Champions League and Burnley in the Premier League have led to many players being questioned. The game against Leicester is a great opportunity to bring in some new faces and inject renewed energy into the side.

There should be changes all around the park for the Reds. Liverpool’s fearsome front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino are likely to be rested.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should make his full Liverpool debut after his transfer from Arsenal, but it remains to be seen whether Klopp sees as a midfield or forward option.

Philippe Coutinho is also be an option in those areas as he continues to regain match fitness. In tune with last season, some youngsters could be in line to make their first appearances this season, including Welsh wonderkid Ben Woodburn.

Here are three ways that Klopp can utilize his squad against Leicester on Tuesday.
