Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

MOHAMED SALAH. 6. With both Coutinho and Mane on field we tend to attack more down the left than the right and so Salah saw less of the play than he has in recent weeks. Still he was good in the build up to the goal but had a golden opportunity to win it that he hit almost directly at the keeper.. Right Forward. Liverpool

ROBERTO FIRMINO. 4. An awful game from the Brazilian forward. It’s a miracle he played the full ninety minutes. His shooting is in a real slump. Badly needs a goal for confidence. The trouble now is that it is affecting the rest of his game. His decision making and execution of crosses and passes looks well below his normal level. Missed two great chances.. Center Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE. 7. Is there anyone else apart from Jürgen Klopp who thinks Sadio Mane should have been taken off? A very strange decision. You have to think there may be some kind of knock. He was, as you’d expect, one of the brightest Liverpool players on the pitch and connected perfectly with Coutinho for the equalizer. Baffling decision.. Right Forward

Substitutions

Daniel Sturridge – 5

Brought on for Sadio Mane and failed to have the desired impact missing two good chances to win it for the Reds.

Gini Wijnaldum – 6

Was unable to really influence the game as we pinned Spartak back in the last 20 minutes.
