Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is so good he’s made it into children’s schoolbooks.

The Egyptian shared a picture on Instagram of a children’s schoolbook that appeared to be from Egypt in which the flyer was pictured.

Salah seems to be the pride of the country, and that is shown partly by his success in public votes for awards such as goal of the month and player of the month.

He’s probably the most high-profile footballer in the country, and units fans across the land because he never played in their domestic competition.

"Mo’s even made it into children’s textbooks!"

This means that there are no partizan division of loyalty among the Egyptian fanbase and instead fans can just unite behind the forward.

Salah has had a very successful start to his second stint in the Premier League and is helping to prove Chelsea wrong at letting him go.

Interestingly, that sparks a different debate surrounding the club, who can look around the top clubs and see youngsters who the Blues let go play leading roles for their sides.

Romelu Lukaku has been a revelation for Manchester United this campaign, while Kevin de Bruyne is an absolute wizard for Manchester City.

Imagine how good the Stamford Bridge mob would be with that trio in their side! But that is a matter for a different day.

Liverpool take on Newcastle United on Sunday in the latest kick off, and Salah will probably have lots of joy against the Magpies makeshift left-backs.
