Andriy Voronin

Ukranian forward Andriy Voronin arrived on a free transfer and that was probably about the best thing to happen to him.

Voronin had a decent scoring record in the Bundesliga, scoring 63 goals between 2002 and 2007 for Mainz, Köln and Bayer Leverkusen.

The forward made 40 appearances for the Anfield side in three years, but was frequently absolutely rubbish and only scored six times in that time.

Despite all that, he still managed to make 70 appearances for the national side and his record show that he might have been better than his Liverpool time showed.
