Iago Aspas

When asked to name the worst Liverpool striker they can think of, most fans plump straight for Spaniard Iago Aspas.

Somehow he convinced Brendan Rodgers he was good enough to start the first four out of five league games in 2013-2014, but once Rodgers realised his mistake he didn’t start again until the 1st January 2014.

Aspas played 15 times that campaign and only managed to hit the back of the net once and his most remembered moment was probably an awful corner against Chelsea.

The Spaniard went back to his native land and scored 40 times in the next three season, 26 of which came in 49 games for Celta Vigo during 2016-2017.
