Titi Camara

Signed for £2.6 million in 1999, Titi Camara wasn’t absolutely the worst striker that the Kop has ever seen, but he wasn’t great.

The Guinea international has an excellent strike rate for his national side with 23 goals from 38 games, but his time at Liverpool was less impressive.

Camara only stuck around for one season before falling out of favour with boss Gerard Houllier and subsequently moving to West Ham United.

A return of nine league goals in 33 appearances is okay, although he should forever be remembered fondly for playing and scoring just hours after finding out that his father had died.
