Krisztián Németh

Hungarian forward Krisztián Németh was the next big thing that never really took off, despite everyone’s best intentions.

When Németh signed, big things were expected of the player and former manager Rafa Benitez even said he had a bright future – according to Liverpoolfc.com.

However, the forward was limited to reserve team fixtures as well as friendly run outs as his Anfield career never got going.

Loan moves to Blackpool and AEK Athens failed to convince the Melwood heirarchy of his potential and Németh eventually left for Olympiakos on a permanent deal.
