Danny Ings

Newcastle United want to sign crocked striker Danny Ings when the transfer window opens in January, reported the Express.

The player revealed that United wanted to bring the forward to St. James’ Park in the summer on loan, but Ings rejected the move to fight for his place in the side.

But with so many players ahead of him in the pecking order, was that the smartest move, especially after so little first team football since 2015.

Ings has also been linked with a move to Leeds United, said the Express, as they want to replace Chris Wood.

Keep an eye on this one as the clock ticks down towards Christmas as plenty of teams will probably be interested in the former Burnley man.
