Emre Can

It looks like the rumours linking midfielder Emre Can with a move away from Anfield just won’t go away.

And now Manchester United, of all clubs, want to sign the German – said talkSPORT. According to them, Jose Mourinho is looking for a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick and thinks Can fits the bill.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man is also in the middle of a contract wrangle and so could move on the cheap in the summer.

Anfield bosses should make sure he signs a deal to prevent that from happening, even if it means Can has a release clause inserted into the deal.
