Liverpool are hosting Chelsea this Saturday at Anfield in the Premier League. Here is the back four we want to see against the Blues this weekend.

As soon as we start trotting out stats about clean sheets we have another one of those games. The four games after losing to Spurs saw Liverpool only concede one goal and brought talk of defensive improvement.

A horror show second half on Tuesday against Seville has killed all talk of progress. A three-nil half time lead was given up in painful fashion. Individual errors once again handing momentum to the opposition.

As we are all too aware the Liverpool back line can implode at any moment. Jurgen Klopp is going to have to get the balance right this Saturday against Chelsea. The Blues were in a minor dip while top scorer Alvaro Morata and defensive lynchpin N’Golo Kante missed games with injury.

Since that duo’s return, Chelsea have gone on a five game win streak in the Premier League. They are now looking much closer to the imperious side that stormed to last year’s title.

Our front four is good enough to cause problems for even the best defenses but Chelsea have plenty of attacking power to occupy or defenders and frighten the fans.

Klopp put out his best available back four against Seville and will likely change things around with another Premier League in midweek coming up against Stoke. The balance between rotation and strength will be key.

Here is the back four we want to see take on Hazard, Morata and the rest of Chelsea on Saturday:
