Liverpool legend Didi Hamann has ripped into Alberto Moreno following the draw with Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The German midfielder is going to develop a reputation for being a Twitter hero after bagging out another player on the social media site.

Hamann has form in this regard: his previous victims include Croatian defender Dejan Lovren as well as Emre Can.

Moreno had a shocker against his former side and sent out a tweet after the fixture talking about the time he spent with the Andalusian outfit.

Former Newcastle United player Hamann was quick to pour cynicism on the new father and told Moreno to focus more on Reds fans than those from Sevilla.

The 25-year-old had been in rejuvenated form this campaign and has kept new summer signing Andrew Robertson out of the team.

Things were beginning to look up for the player, but the shocker – in which he was responsible for at least two of the three goals – has put back that progress.

Liverpool take on Chelsea at the weekend and now Klopp has a big decision to make regarding the left-back position.

Moreno fans will be keen to point out that a bad game does not make a bad player, while his critics can argue that this is simply a sub-par footballers reverting back to type.
