7. Another player who benefitted from the system. Able to play further forward than when he is in the midfield three he enjoyed pushing forward and linking up with Coutinho. Brighton were 2-0 down pretty early and then were bypassing the midfield by trying to get the ball up to Glenn Murray early. 6. At last! Andrew Robertson got another start as Alberto Moreno was rested. The Scotsman has been left out of many match day squads this season so he must have been delighted for the opportunity. He didn’t have much to do within the game. When Coutinho plays as the left forward he drifts inside and his instinct isn’t to look out wide.
