7. Liverpool scored five and the Premier League’s top scorer was not on the score sheet. He did grab an assist fro Firmino’s second goal. As soon as we were winning his pace on the counter attack opened up the game for the Reds. Had one clear chance early in the second half to make it 3-0 but didn’t quite connect and it was easy for the keeper. It wasn’t an easy chance but it shows how much we now expect him to put everything away.. Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH

Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO. 9. Firmino back in his favored central role where he can drift into wherever there is space. He pulled right often to open up room centrally for Salah to run at the Brighton center backs. This movement led to his goal as he came in for an easy finish at the far post. His second goal was another quick counter this time with a rifled finish into the top corner. When Firmino plays well the whole attack purrs like a finely tuned engine.. Center Forward

Right Forward. Liverpool. PHILIPPE COUTINHO. 9. Two assist in two minutes highlights the highest quality of his technique. The first was a perfectly whipped in corner that found a rising Can for a powerful header. The second was a quick break where he played a perfect first time pass for Firmino to slam home. He got his goal with a free kick under the wall to fool Mat Ryan. He also made the fifth goal with his shot being headed in by Lewis Dunk for an own goal. Outstanding display.
