Liverpool fans have created a hilarious photoshop involving Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane after the latter’s latest comments.

Mane appeared to be agitated after he was sent onto the pitch with just one minute left of the Reds’ draw against Chelsea, but quickly smoothed things over in the French press.

A video has appeared of former Blue William Gallas interviewing the flyer, where they talked about Klopp and his life on Merseyside.

SI.com has reported that Mane said his manager was like his father and there were no problems between him and the former Borussia Dortmund gaffer.

Obviously, after you make statements like that there is bound to be some internet repercussions – and this time is no different.

Some quick witted fans have jumped at the chance to do some funny edits, and thus the below image was born. Taken from the ASDA pic from earlier in the year, Mane has become the baby that was once in his arms, while Klopp takes over from his player.

"“Klopp is like my father” from LiverpoolFC"

The former Southampton man joined the club for £37 million in 2016 and has been an instant success, scoring 18 goals in just 43 games across all competitions and bringing lightning pace to the left-hand flank.

In tandem with Mohamed Salah, Mane is one of the most feared wingers in the competition and can turn any defence inside out on his day.

Which is why it’s so important for Liverpool fans that the 25-year-old is happy and willing to stay at the club for years to come.
