7. Making his second start in a row after missing out for a few games. He hassled and hurried all day and provided a physical presence in the side to help break up the Spartak attacks. Was able to get forward and press the opposition well. Had no need to join the attack all game as we were so far ahead for virtually the whole match.. Center Midfield. Liverpool. EMRE CAN

8. Another Red who is underrated. After Saturday’s run out at center back he was back in a more familiar central midfield role. With so many similarities with he, Can and Henderson it works much better when they play as a two. Especially when Coutinho is on the pitch to drift into the center when needed.. Center Midfield. 10. A hattrick for the Brazilian who was made captain for the day. All the hype has been on Salah but Coutinho is having a stellar season also. He is getting a goal or an assist every 70 minutes. That is incredible. Messi levels of greatness. Our forwards are all wonderful but Coutinho offers a generational talent that elevate the whole attack to something spectacular.. Left Midfield.
