Liverpool came away from the Emirates with a 3-3 win against Arsenal today in the Premier League. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Arsenal.

This game marks the half way point of the Premier League season and Liverpool will go into Christmas in the top four after a draw against Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp made only two changes to the team that beat Bournemouth on Sunday. Out went midfield pair Alex-Oxlade Chamberlian and Gini Wijnaldum and in came Emre Can and Sadio Mane. Philippe Coutinho dropped into midfield with Mane taking the left forward position.

The first half was a story of domination; if not in the score line, certainly in the chances. Coutinho opened the scoring with a nice header over the outrushing. We only took a 1-0 lead into the second half. As every Red suspected, it wasn’t enough.

It looked good after Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 but 3 Arsenal goals in 5 minutes was typical Liverpool defending to absurd levels. A Roberto Firmino equalizer meant we took a point and fourth place at the midway point of the season.

Here are the Liverpool player ratings v Arsenal:

5. Just when we needed to be calm and error prone along comes Simon. After going two nil up we fall asleep for a goal. Then Granit Xhaka’s speculative effort somehow went through the hand of Mignolet. Maybe its a ghost hand. Or it could be a hologram. Even so it was very, very save-able. Not good for Ozil’s goal either.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool. SIMON MIGNOLET
