Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

8. Got an assist after breaking free into a one-on-one situation with Koscielny. The Egyptian was too much for the center back but got lucky with the deflection on the cross for Coutinho’s opening goal. Had a great chance to make it two nil after a defensive slip from Arsenal. However he gave Petr Cech a chance to make the save. Got his goal after a typical quick breakaway and got (another) lucky deflection but deserved the goal.. Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH

Had two chances to open the scoring. Both were headers at the far post. The first from Robertson’s cross was straight at Cech. The second chance was from Coutinho’s perfect pass that he nodded just wide. Scored to level the game after finding space in Arsenal’s soft center to fire in a shot. Cech got a hand to it before it looped up and fell in the net.. Center Forward. Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO. 8

Liverpool. SADIO MANE. 5. Oh Sadio! He had two chances in the first half. The best one being from a rebound off Cech after Salah’s shot. Mane went for a spectacular scissor kick that went just over. However he had far more time than that and could have brought it down for a simpler chance. Two more chances after we were 3-2 down to level it and he he got hold of neither. He needs a goal but more importantly needs a good name.. Left Forward

Substitutes

James Milner – 7

Found himself thrown into the action earlier than expected through Henderson’s injury. It was his clever through ball Salah that set up the first goal.

Next: All of Rafa Benitez' Liverpool signings ranked 45 to 1!

Gini Wijnaldum – 6

Came on for Sadio Mane for the last ten minutes to give fresh legs and something a bit more composed in the center of the park.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 6

Only got the last 7 minutes against his former club for Coutinho
