Liverpool fans are creasing over this Emre Can moment from their 2-1 win over Leicester City.

Despite the probability that Can will refuse to sign a new Anfield deal and leave the club in the summer, manager Jurgen Klopp continues to play him.

And while the German carries on putting in good performances, he’s likely to be kept in the starting XI and will give Reds fans continued heartache.

Can had another good game on Saturday as Liverpool scored two second half goals to consign the Foxes to another defeat.

It all started so well for the home side, who opened the scoring after three minutes after Jamie Vardy pounced on a Joel Matip mistake.

But Can, along with his teammates, had other ideas and produced an excellent performance. He may have completed 85% of his passes and made five tackles (stats from WhoScored), but the most memorable part of the German’s performance was saved for later.

After taking a free ball from the referee, Can dribbled past a few bemoused Leicester players and punted it far up into the Foxes’ half and out for a throw in.

The away side hardly have any room for complaints after doing exactly the same thing earlier in the game, and the Liverpool men were only so happy to return the favour.

It’s something that Reds fans absolutely loved, and a few of them were creasing about it on Twitter after the game. This is what they thought.

Sportsmanship might be dying out of the game, but if a player can see a place to gain an advantage, why shouldn’t they take it?
